....no, it's NOT The Beatles....but I found this clip today while I was compiling the next video , which will be some news reports about LIPA's opening - and Paul's Knighthood !

...someone asked about the camcorder film from the 1990's ...but the hi-8mm wasn't very good quality , compared o the cameras we have today....with 4k and more ! I actually met George briefly in 1997 and 1998 but the chap who I trusted with the camera and who I asked to film me with George was busy chatting to one of Ravi's musicians ! Dooohhhh .

...well , not really - it's a new 'photograph animation' service from a company in the USA - BUT it only seems to work ok on photos that are symmetrical , showing both ears etc. Their service can 'enhance' old photos and colour them before bringing them to life too....and I thought you might like to see some that I'd done since signing up yesterday . I've done lots of family pictures too ....li...

....while 'between' performances at the Hyde Park LIVE8 concert . I was there....amongst the huge crowd , after winning a pair of tickets from a local radio station where I live. This video is just a test , to ensure that everything is working ok ....but I wonder if there'll be yet another copyright warning ? - which is why I don't upload stuff very often these days. ...so I went to Liverpool with my little camera and stayed the night in the Adelphi Hotel . I had a look around the area where John was born and where he went to Art College , then went to Mathew Street and the Pier Head - please excuse the blips and beeps as I had to tuck the microphone into my shirt to avoid the wet & windy weather !

....at the Annual Liverpool Beatles Fan's Convention , at the Adelphi Hotel . A member of the audience asks Bob to do his old 'Cavern Introduction' ...but he substitutes Allan's name instead of saying The Beatles ! When Paul McCartney played The Cavern in December 1999 , he wanted Bob to to this introduction too ...but Bob wasn't feeling too well after a few too many drinks . I was looking for ...

Happy New Year Charles !!! - here's that 1989 clip from onboard the Royal Iris Ferry ! The girl introducing it is gorgeous Surrey girl and Marilyn Monroe lookalike 'Tracey' ...who was at that television show that I went to in June 1989. She met Paul outside ! Best wishes from Steve....let's get married Baby...eh ?!

...a brief Channel 4 news interview with Paul, by his old schoolpal Peter Sissons - who recently passed away. I haven't included the previous five minutes of criticism about 'Give My Regards To Broad Street' before the interview ! I really enjoyed Paul's film , as did all of his fans...but the silly critics thought that it was a film which should appeal to everybody as a feature film or musical...

...who sadly passed away last week , after a long battle with Cancer. Despite his pain he still kept performing and doing charity work around the country , and he was booked to appear in a Summer Season Show in Blackpool , his adopted home town . This video is from my VHS video tape recording of his television show tribute to the 1960's - and The Beatles in particular....recorded in the 1990's.

....at the 'LIPA' graduation event at the Philharmonic Hall . This is the venue where Buddy Holly played in March 1958, so I took along a repro canvas print of the handbill to 'exchange' for an autograph maybe....?...BUT he didn't sign anything and went straight in ...

....in St. Bart's in the Caribbean , probably because he didn't want his grandchildren to be photographed .
